At a company meeting, our President came up with a mission statement for Yippee Print & Marketing:

“Presenting an ever expanding product line and award winning designs to help meet all of your needs in this new world of virtual media and competitive promotions.”

Our staff said, huh??? After much discussion over pizza and beer, we all concluded that yes, we were on the same page with that! However, we feel the need to simplify this explanation:

What the staff and owners of Yippee Print & Marketing want to convey is that while we perform the same cliques of every other company – we go the extra mile, we bend over backwards; we always put our customers first….. We really do all that and more. Yippee staffers are truly excited about the daily innovative concepts that are implemented for our customers. We really do care about all of our clients, because, yes, when you look good, we look good. Our creative and energetic staff will work alongside every customer, whether on the phone, in person or on the web. We mesh out exactly who and what our customer is really about and what they want their clients to see them as. We get into the nitty gritty about who is your target market, what is the best approach to reach your audience, what products will really tie into your image and how can we create projects that will fall within your budget. What you might have done 6 months ago, might not be applicable now. We listen with open minds, ears and heart. We want you to become the next Nike, Pepsi, Microsoft or Yahoo of your industry and we will help you achieve that. But you expected all of that, right?

What you are not aware of is that our President travels the world and picks up cutting edge marketing, promotional, branding and technology ideas from around the globe. Things such as really cool shapes and dies for business cards, new and reliable suppliers for eco-friendly materials or simply a new printing or web idea that has been popular in Japan for years, but is quite unfamiliar to the American population. All these great ideas are then shared with our customers.

We also encourage our entire staff to attend various trade shows, industry seminars and participate in webinars. We regularly partner with our vendors to supply our staff with hands on training on new machinery and technology as well as introduce us to new products. We attend local seminars given by folks like David Meerman Scott, best selling author and guru of the New Rules of PR and Marketing, among other marketing and cutting edge technology seminars. We work with Peter Shankman, PR man extraordinaire of Help A Reporter Out (HARO) fame to keep in touch with industry experts on their ideas and experiences.

Yippee staffers belong to many network groups both local and national, enabling us to rub elbows with the mucky muck, picking up some great ideas by simply understanding what peoples needs are and then passing them along to you. We encourage our staff to volunteer their services, experiences and knowledge to share with their community. We conduct classes on How To Start Your Own T-Shirt line and are guest speakers at various trade associations discussing Eco-Friendly branding, marketing and printing techniques and technologies. We are represented at the annual NJ Governors Women’s Conference, where we have the opportunity to meet our local politicians and have a voice in our industry. We are also proud, active members of NJAWBO (New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners). All, so we can pass on up to date information, technology and educate you, our customer.   So, you see, we do more than just print the stuff!

We have daily production meetings as well as monthly staff meetings on the regular business stuff. Our staff enjoys creating new marketing ideas and reviews case studies that they individually discovered during their personal time. Once a month, we invite one of our vendors to speak with our staff apprising us of their new products and services. We do fun stuff like have Kadima (beach paddleball) competitions on the riverfront to blow off steam and rejuvenate ourselves. We’ve come up with some of our best cost cutting and marketing ideas while hitting a ball back and forth! We want our customers, you, to be the best in your industry. Information generates power.   Power generates industry leadership, prosperity and happiness to us all.

Yippee Print & Marketing has set up an advisory board composed of a marketing guru, PR specialist; computer geek, web designer, attorney and management coach all to share ideas and concepts. Everything we do, think and learn is with you, our customer in mind.
